Let Us Pray started with six people on a prayer line on Wednesday night, April 16, 2020, but where there is good food, the crowd will grow. Eventually, a 3 a.m. prayer line was started, which we later outgrew, transitioning into a Thursday night prayer and deliverance service.

Word of Life International Ministries was birthed through prayer and fasting by our leader, Pastor Kaydian Richards, and his beautiful wife, First Lady Raquel Richards, in September 2020. This occurred after the prayer line grew from 12 to 45 members on Zoom. To accommodate everyone, we took a vote to change the day from Thursday to Friday, which was accepted by all. We also added a Sunday evening intercessory prayer group, which was later moved to Wednesday to close off our day of fasting.

In September 2021, we started our Sunday School for children under 12 and over 12, held intermittently on Sunday mornings. We are praying earnestly over our children, as they are displaying promise.

In August 2022, shortly after restrictions were lifted, we acquired a building by the grace of God and went hybrid, with viewers spanning England, Canada, Jamaica, and various U.S. states on Zoom. We continue to grow in number over the years, as we win souls through baptism and see backsliders returning home. We have also had several baby dedications.

​

In May 2023, shortly after COVID restrictions were lifted, we led the Jamaica leg of our deliverance service, which was appreciated and supported by our members there. We returned to the island in January 2024, successfully gaining souls through baptism and seeing believers return to the fold. Through our Zoom platform, many people have been saved, delivered, healed, and have testified of their breakthroughs.

We continue to witness what the Lord has done in the lives of people.

​

Our programs include various events such as an annual anniversary service, a Women’s Conference in May, and our annual barbecue commemorated around the 4th of July. We are now looking to visit other states to hold deliverance services as the Lord leads. This year, we will begin in Maryland, then Jamaica, and later this year, we plan to be in Florida.
